Discover Bernheim’s backcountry on an exciting hike and van tour led by Volunteer Naturalists.  Explore remote areas of Bernheim, including Wilson Creek, future wetland areas, a moderate loop hike along Overall’s Creek and a walk among large boulders in Bernheim’s south section.

This adventure includes several moderate hikes, with a total walking distance of 4 miles, taking you to parts of Bernheim only accessible with a guide.

For your safety and comfort sturdy treaded shoes or hiking boots are essential and hiking sticks are recommended.  Please avoid tennis shoes, as parts of the trail are uneven and slippery. Be sure to bring water, sack lunch or snacks for lunch at the Bean House.
